The Bronze Fonz was unveiled today. I have nothing to add concerning any of the “controversy” and “protests” (and I use the terms loosely) over the statue and whether it’s a good use of public art. Instead, I just want to point out a weird similarity between the Bronze Fonz and actor Conrad Veidt, who was the visual inspiration for the Joker. Boy, everyone’s trying to jump on The Dark Knight bandwagon nowadays.
